When CAS approached us needing a brand new Salesforce implementation with integrated Accounting, for their upcoming trip to New York City Climate Week, we knew it would be a great challenge.
Climate Action Studios (CAS) was founded by two incredibly passionate and talented filming experts Tom Clark and Nathaniel Walters, who are motivated to help tackle the Climate Crisis.
When they started CAS they knew they wanted to ensure that they started on the right foot with high data quality, clean and simple processes all whilst utilising green technologies like Salesforce who are equally committed to the climate.
Tom had the foresight to realise that starting out with Salesforce set up efficiently by Desynit, would empower his staff to work effectively, and help his company grow at the ambitious speed they were aiming for.
There were 3 main areas that Tom and Nathaniel wanted to excel at.
Tom wanted his team to be able to manage Leads, Opportunities and the Sales Pipeline, tracking everything that came in and working collaboratively to see which Organisations they could best help.
Nathaniel wanted to track his Project work directly following on from an agreed Quote.
They both wanted to integrate with their finance system and bank account so they could easily track and allocate payments against Sales Orders.
The Sales Process was configured to make it easy to identify and close Opportunities.
Projects were configured to capture all the information they needed to make it easy to track where they were and the next steps.
Aedon was installed to quickly generate Sales Invoices and integrate with their bank account for reconciliation.
We found a financial solution in the form of Aedon Accounting, which is a lightweight on platform financial package. The speed and simplicity of setting Aedon up for CAS meant the team were up and running in no time with an easy to use solution which will handle its complex accounting.
This combined with Salesforce Sales Cloud has made for easy reporting and tracking of exactly where the team are with orders and sales as well as automated approvals and payment notifications ensuring CAS has a proper audit trail of responsibility without the need for complex integrations.
Easy to use processes for prospecting clients through to quoting, invoice production and bank account integration allowing for efficient reconciliation and flexibility were all key to the success of this project.
Going from nothing to a fully working solution in a matter of weeks enabled the team to effortlessly go to New York Climate Week with a working solution that they could utilise from day one.
Proving that less time spent on the administration allows the team to spend more time on Climate Action.
