Saving, viewing and downloading email attachments – Jenny’s Weekly Tip #13

If you haven’t seen already, saving attachments to your Google Drive just got a whole lot easier.

Thanks to Google Apps latest update, saving and viewing documents can now take place right there in your inbox. That means no downloading email attachment, no more wasted storage space on your device and no more searching through your downloads to locate your files.

What was once a clunky process, see weekly tip 6, saving and viewing attachments now works like a dream.

When you receive an email that has an attachment you will notice that you have the following options:

1.You will have the option to Download the file:

 2. You will have the option to Save to your Google Drive:

3. And if you click the attachment, Google will automatically give you a Google Docs preview of that attachment:

 Wow! Thanks Google!
