Ever read a document and thought, โwhere is that place?โ, or created a document and wanted to add a quote. Well instead of searching the web from a different tab, you can now find that perfect quote, definition or embed an image right here is Google Docs using the Research Pane.
The Research Pane opens with ease and is tucked away to the right of your document:
You can open the new pane in 3 ways:
1. Select Tools > Research from the top menu
2.Select a suitable word in your Google Doc, right click and choose Research
3. Highlight a word and press Ctrl+Alt+R on Windows or Cmd+Alt+Shift+I on Mac.
You can also filter your search by selecting a number of choices from the drop down menu:
Hover over the results and you’ll see a choice of:Preview; Research or Cite – and if you find an image you can simply drag it into your document.
Now doesnโt this make working that little bit more easier?!
