Have you been using Cirrus Insight and find that you are not getting the full potential out of their useful features? For example, you have an important email conversation with a customer that you want to save to Salesforce, but you don’t know how to?
With Cirrus Insight you can automatically relate emails to contacts and account records or specify how you want the email to relate to Salesforce, even relating emails to custom fields and objects. Furthermore, you can add attachments, including Google Docs, and Cirrus will even track and display which emails you have logged to Salesforce.
Here are two ways to save emails from Gmail into Salesforce.
1. Automatically relate emails to contacts using the Quick Add button.
2. Use the Add to Salesforce button to specify exactly how you want the email to relate in Salesforce.
a.Selecting Quick Add will send the email and associate that email in Salesforce with the Contact and Account Record.
b.Once added, you will receive an on screen message letting you know that the email has been added to Salesforce.
a.Clicking Add to Salesforce will bring up the Add to Salesforce dialogue box.
This will allow you to choose additional Objects in Salesforce to relate the email to: –
b. You can select who you want the email to be related to.

c. It will automatically be connected to that contacts account record.
d. You can choose any object in Salesforce to relate the email to; select the object and it will automatically display the records associated with that object.
e.Hover over a record to get a summary of the record.
f.When you have selected the record you want to associate the email with, select and hit Save.
